Chad racks up another win

UNDEFEATED Chad Gaynor continued his march up the boxing rankings with a comfortable points win over the highly experienced and incredibly durable Kristian Laight at Doncaster Dome.

Appearing on the undercard of Jamie McDonnell's successful European title defence, the Rotherham light welterweight looked impressive throughout as he displayed a precise jab and excellent movement to keep his determined opponent at bay and take every round on the referee's scorecard.

Gaynor, who fights out of Rotherham's Millennium gym, now moves to five wins out of five, with three of those coming inside the distance.

Stable-mate and fellow Laight conqueror, Maxi Hughes, also continued his successful start to his boxing career as he notched up a highly entertaining points victory over tough journey man Graham Fearn on the same bill.
