Brogan goes out on loan

ROTHERHAM United utility man Stephen Brogan has joined non-league Stalybridge Celtic on loan.

Brogan (22), has signed for the Blue Square Bet North side for a month having failed to hold down a regular place at Don Valley Stadium.

He has featured only four times this season, the last in the 3-0 FA Cup replay defeat at York City in November.

The former youth product broke into the first-team in the 2006/07 season, making 24 appearances.

He went on to become a main player for the side before breaking his leg in a match at MK Dons early in 2008. The injury kept him out for more than a year.
