BREAKING NEWS: Jones gets Titans' job

ROTHERHAM Titans have named former Wales star Mark Jones as their new head coach - the highest profile recruitment in the club's history.

The 34-year-old put pen to paper this afternoon and takes over from Wasps-bound Lee Blackett at Clifton Lane.

Jones has played 47 times for Wales and spent 17 years with Scarlets as a player and coach. He has also been part of the Wales international coaching set-up.

Titans' director of rugby Martin Jenkinson says it's a massive coup for the club.

"We're delighted to have brought in someone of Mark's calibre," he said.
