Blackett - support vital against Worcester

TITANS supporters are being urged to give big guns Worcester a hot reception at Clifton Lane tomorrow (3pm).

A crowd of more than 2,000 is expected to pack the ground for the Championship clash and it comes just as Rotherham are starting to hit their stride.

They've won three on the spin, topped by last Saturday's 32-29 success in Jersey, taking them to fourth in the table.

Even though Rotherham have home advantage, the pressure is on Worcester as favourites. Although only a point better off, they have the resources and the players to see off most teams in the league but won't relish a trip up to South Yorkshire.

Coach Lee Blackett said: “We're going to need our supporters right behind us, not just in the game but in the warm-up also. We'll have more than 2,000 in and the Shed is nearly sold out so we're hoping there will be a great atmosphere.

“We all know what a hard place it can be for visiting teams with the fans so close to the pitch and we want them to make as much noise as possible."
