Big weekend for Town

A BUSY bank holiday weekend is set to test Rotherham Town's resolve in their quest for the ECB Yorkshire League title.

The Clifton Lane outfit trail leaders and defending champions York by nine points going into the final four games.

The two teams meet at York next Saturday but in the meantime Town must negotiate their way past lowly Sheffield United at Clifton Lane this Saturday and an away match at Appleby Frodingham on Monday.

They will aim to carry on how they left off at Castleford on Saturday, skittling the hosts out for 103 after opening with 155. Nathan Smith made 45.
