Big chance for young cricketers

WITH the cricket season just around the corner, young players from Rotherham are being given the chance to get tips from a pro and learn about forging a career in the game.

Former England and Leicestershire cricketer Paul Nixon is asking all 16-18 year olds to join him in a training session at Bawtry Road, Brinsworth, home of Sheffield United CC, on Saturday, March 29 (10.30am-1.30pm).

The session is free and open to any standard cricketer. It is followed by a seminar offering information about his Academy.
