Beaten Titans have to find a pick-me-up

TITANS ace Andy Davies says Rotherham have got to pick themselves up from yesterday's defeat at Bristol and get back on track by winning their next two games.

Titans went down 28-12 at Ashton Gate, scoring the opener through Ben Rath and the final try through Darran Harris. It was what happened in-between that concerned everyone in the Clifton Lane camp as Bristol ran in four converted tries in what was effectively a cakewalk for the title favourites.

Now Rotherham have to hit back, starting this weekend says the diminutive Davies.

"We've got two games coming up that we have to win, starting against Moseley and then at Bedford," said the former Newcastle man.

"It was very frustrating for us because we fancied our chances of coming down here and turning them over. We played well at times but they were just more clinical."

Bristol's firepower proved telling after a good first 39 minutes for Rotherham. The hosts finally broke through through Olly Robinson in first half added time and then went 14-5 up through Gason Gortes shortly after the restart.

Further tries came from Robinson and Jack Tovey - all four converted by Gavin Henson - before Harris final say in the last seconds.
