Archer Amy aims for Rio

ARCHER Amy Oliver heads into her 2016 Olympic qualification campaign on a high – after finishing top of the UK women’s table.

The Swinton ace, who made her Games bow in London three years ago, is expected to make the cut for the Great Britain team for Rio, especially after topping the Target Archery National Rankings.

The Dearne Valley AC shooter headed Olympic team-mate Naomi Folkard by just ten points in the listings.

She will now head into the New Year aiming to hit the qualifying mark on both individual and team levels before next July.
