Anglers achieve impressive results at Bank End and Kiveton fishing venues

MORE bumper results from the 32 anglers fishing at Bank End last Sunday where there was one 300lbs plus net, three 200lbs plus nets and no less than another 12 anglers weighing more than 100lbs.

Matt Grove led the way with a winning 307lbs 15ozs net from peg 16.

Steve Donaghue took the second place with 216lbs 10ozs.

He beat J. Elsworth’s 203lbs 8ozs into third place and Declan Bailey’s 200lbs 10ozs into fourth.

Dean Foster was fifth with 161lbs 1oz and Steve Rylands sixth with 160lbs 3ozs.

A massive improvement at Kiveton throughout last week.

Clive Machin won the midweek knock-up with just 24lbs 8ozs with Faz Munaser second with 14lbs 2ozs.

Saturday’s weights improved no end.

Wayne Heywood won with 67lbs 3ozs.

Mark Cliff came second with 44lbs 1oz and Gary Lyne third with 27lbs 14ozs.

Sunday however saw a huge difference.

Alex Dalton was the winner with a 199lbs 13ozs net from peg 12.

Ray Harris was second with 69lbs 5ozs and Andy Allott third with 67lbs 7ozs.

The section winners were Matt Dalton, 63lbs 6ozs, a net which included 35lbs of silver fish, Pete Ellis was with a total of 39lbs 14ozs and Steve Gill 46lbs 6ozs.
