Adams leaves Parkgate

MANAGER Steve Adams has left Parkgate after three years in charge.

Former Garforth Town and Ossett Town manager Graham Nicholas has stepped in as a replacement after Adams stepped down following a poor start to the season.

Nicholas takes over a Parkgate side which has yet to win a league game this term.They've lost 15 out of their last 16 in league and cup, the only victory coming in an FA Cup qualifier on the first day of the season.

Nicholas's first game in charge is a League Cup tie at Hemsworth Miners Welfare tonight. Injured midfielder Ross Shelton will assist the new manager.

Nicholas started this campaign in charge of Nostell Miners Welfare. He lasted nine games before resigning for personal reasons.
