Acid test for Titans

TABLE-topping Titans head to Moseley tomorrow with coach Lee Blackett saying: “This is a game where we will find out how good our players really are.”

With two wins from two, following last week’s ten-try demolition of Ealing, Blackett’s side face their hardest test yet as they head to Billesley Common.

Even though the midlanders have yet to win, Blackett knows they are doggedly dangerous, proven by last Friday’s recovery from 31-3 down at Plymouth to snatch a draw.

And apart from a character examination, he also says it’s a chance for Rotherham to lay down a marker away from Clifton Lane.

He said: “This is going to be one heck of a test. It’s the first chance to see how the boys  perform away from home because if I’m critical of this club over the last ten years it’s down to the away record, it hasn’t been good enough.

“You can’t go through a season winning two or three away games. If we want to improve as a club we have to sort that area out.

“I know we’ll perform at home but away from Clifton Lane is where we’ll really find out about individuals."
