Hide AdAnd apart from a character examination, he also says it’s a chance for Rotherham to lay down a marker away from Clifton Lane.
He said: “This is going to be one heck of a test. It’s the first chance to see how the boys perform away from home because if I’m critical of this club over the last ten years it’s down to the away record, it hasn’t been good enough.
“You can’t go through a season winning two or three away games. If we want to improve as a club we have to sort that area out.
“I know we’ll perform at home but away from Clifton Lane is where we’ll really find out about individuals."
