ROTHERHAM United manager Andy Scott praised the character of his players after they battled back to force a draw at Burton Albion on Saturday.

Trailing to Calvin Zola's 40th minute strike, the Millers enjoyed the better of the second half, with on-loan striker Shaun Harrad's third goal in three games earning a 1-1 draw.

Scott said: "We know we've got character. It's about showing everybody out there that we've got it and I want to give them the platform to go and do that.

"That was our third game in a week and for a lot of the players who have either come in on loan and maybe might not be as fit as our boys or have come back from injury, that's a consideration.

"It's a point gained and any point away from home in this league is a decent point.

"We are still there or thereabouts and are growing in confidence."

Now unbeaten in three, Rotherham remain three points outside the play-offs going into tomorrow's match at Gillingham.
