Why no gritting?
WHY haven’t any roads been gritted over Christmas and a very cold icy period of weather? I live on a steep hill which is also a main route for emergency vehicles between Moorgate and Broom Lane.
There is no excuse for this, the weather forecast was plain enough.
If this is part of the cuts we are entitled to know something as important and far reaching as this, because people will pay through car insurance and maybe their lives.
