Who are the real cheats?

WHILE benefit bashing has now become a very popular pastime, it is worth noting that the overwhelming majority of people claiming benefits are working. And very few people are in receipt of the grotesque amounts reported in the media.

Interestingly our Works and Pensions minister Iain Duncan Smith’s family are in dire need of public assistance from the tax payer.  His family’s country estate has received an estimated £1 million in ten years from the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy. They call it income support for farmers.

Iain Duncan Smith’s aggressive welfare cuts are causing great hardship in many homes, but he also claims he can live off £53 a week.

It is worth remembering who really is abusing the tax payer and lying to the country.
