Is this the answer to every shopaphobe's prayers? VIDEO

MEN. We all know they hate shopping.

All that walking and queuing—festive shoppers will walk an estimated 30 miles and queue for an average of an hour and a half while searching for gifts this Christmas— when you could be in the pub or watching football. Or both.

But the man behind new a shopping website, Kevin Flood, reckons he’s got the answer.

Kevin reckons research shows that while 81% of women find shopping tripsan enjoyable day out , the majority of men prefer to shop online.

With that in mind, he’s launched showpow.co.uk, which he says is an online high street that will save you time, petrol and cash.

"With everyone having a Merry Austerity Christmas and high street retailers starting panic sales over concerns about being left with unsold stock, online shopping is emerging as a growth area.

“Shoppers are on the hunt for deals but are increasingly looking online for big discounts and are sharing their best finds with friends and family; something which is increasingly difficult with the purse strings tighter than a drum."

He says his site allows “your friends are able to give you advice based on their experiences on the products that have purchased, as opposed to listening to an inexperienced shop assistant after shuffling through crowds of people this Christmas.”

“The site brings together the benefits of sourcing great deals, by generating items from over 22,000 retailers who have signed up to the site through one search of a product.”

So. No more traipsing up and down cold streets in the rain, then. Just hope the postman doesn’t get held up in the snow . . .
