HAVING watched BBC early morning TV a consumer expert came on and informed us that the Government has instructed the power companies to help in the financial burden placed on us by them to give householders a £130 pounds voucher towards our electicity bill for February and March.
If you qualify due to you being a pensioner or on a low income, you have to ring your own power supplier and it’s only for electricity. I rang mine, which is British Gas and I have qualified for the voucher. Pay-as-you-go customers also qualify, but hurry up because each power company has a cut-off date. British Gas is the last day in December . You get the free phone number at the top of your bill. Give it a try it costs nothing.
