Aussie visitors shocked by MP's four-letter outburst at EDL
ROTHERHAM MP Denis MacShane has apologised for telling the EDL to “f*** off” down a microphone during the counter rally against the far-right group's march through the town.
Shocked resident Barry Payling, of Rawmarsh, was in All Saints’ Square with friends from Australia on Saturday.

“They were aware of the rally by the EDL but as long as we kept out of the way of any idiots I was confident we would be okay.
“They presumed this must be someone from the EDL but I explained to them that this was our member of Parliament, Dr MacShane.”
Dr MacShane said he was sorry for causing offence and offered Mr Payling and his friends a visit to Parliament to make up for it.

“Friends of mine at the event also told me I was out of order and they and you are right and I was wrong.”
