Youngsters are set to see the stars
AN ASTRONOMICAL society’s observatory has a busy diary next week thanks to visits by a school and a scout group.
Mexborough and Swinton Astronomical Society’s JA Jones Hoober Observatory on Lea Brook Lane, Wentworth, will play host to a group from St Thomas Junior School in Kilnhurst on Tuesday (March 15) and 105th Sheffield High Green Scouts the day after.
The observatory is regularly opened up to the public for community events.
