A WOMAN was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation following an accidental hob fire at a house in Balby.

A WOMAN was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation following an accidental hob fire at a house in Balby yesterday.

Three fire engines attended the house fire on Roberts Road at 4.05pm to tackle the blaze caused by cardboard and paper items left on an electric hob. 

One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire and the crew had left the scene by 4.34pm.
