Where there's brass, there's traffic as lorry sheds load
TRAFFIC was held up on a busy road after a lorry shed its load of brass.
The hold-up happened earlier this afternoon when the truck tipped off its cargo at the Centenary Way roundabout in the town centre near to Lidl.
While the blockage was cleared after the spill at about 1pm, traffic was backed up on College Road.
The accident happened as the driver tried to navigate a turning and was dealt with quickly by police because a marked police car happened to be travelling behind the lorry when the brass fell off.
