Woman bites sex attacker's face

POLICE are trying to track down a sex attacker who suffered injuries to his face and finger as he attacked a woman in a park.

Police say the victim was walking along Wath Road, Ingsfield Lane, Bolton-upon-Dearne, when the attacker struck.

He grabbed her and pushed her into Mansion Fields Park before sexually assaulting her.

The woman, who is in her early 20s, fought back, bending the man’s finger and biting him on the left cheek.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have noticed a friend or partner with similar injuries to contact them.

The attacker is described as in his 20s, with short dark hair and a muscular build.

Officers also want to trace a cyclist who passed by at the time.

He is believed to be around 17-years-old, with blonde, curtain-style hair.
