Witness appeal after man seriously injured in crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at around 4.50am on Saturday (17) in Brampton Bierlow.

A police spokeswoman said a blue Toyota Yaris was travelling along Packman Road towards Brampton Bierlow.

The car was believed to have left the road and collided with the banking and trees, before coming to rest back on the road facing in the opposite direction.

The 24-year-old male driver sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

His 30-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries.
