LADY Leshurr, Slow Club and The Selecter are among dozens of bands who will take to the stage in just two weeks as part of this year's Outlines Festival — and we have a pair of tickets to giveaway.
Now in its second year, Outlines, running from March 3 to 4, is the little sister of Tramlines Festival and has expanded into a two-day event featuring 100 bands at multiple venues across Sheffield city centre.
Outlines will showcase established and up-and-coming acts including Jagwar Ma, The Crookes, Blood Sport, Cowtown, Hookworms, Alvarez Kings, Nadia Rose and The Orielles.
Australian psychedelic rock outfit Jagwar Ma will be appearing at The Leadmill alongside alt-rock duo Slow Club, whose latest album One Day All Of This Won’t Matter Anymore sees the band experiment with an Americana-tinged sound while retaining the rich vocal harmonies of their earlier albums.
Rotherham’s own Alvarez Kings will bring their indie-pop sounds to Plug on Friday, March 3, in a big South Yorkshire send-off ahead of a tour of Germany and Austria.
Legendary two-tone pioneers The Selecter will also play at Plug nightclub, the festival’s largest venue, after amassing an arsenal of hits including On My Radio and Three Minute Hero.
Emerging grime artist Lady Leshurr is just one of the hotly-tipped new acts on the bill and is sure to light up the colder months with her energetic live show.
The pair of tickets will give you access to all the Friday and Saturday gigs plus after parties.
