WHISTON: Rotary Club plans play area clean-up

A COMMUNITY clean-up operation at a village play area has been planned for later this month.

Sitwell Rotherham Rotary Club has organised the litter pick at the field and recreation area off Greystones Road in Whiston as part of the club’s national Environment Day.

And members are inviting residents to join them for the event from 9.30am on May 29.
Rotherham Borough Council’s Streetpride team will provide the equipment for the day.
