We've no fears: Millers

AMBITIOUS Rotherham United say they’re not worried that, as bookies favourites, they’ll be firmly in the firing line when the season starts.

And assistant boss Paul Raynor says he’s confident the Millers will meet chairman Tony Stewart’s expectations.

Stewart has made no bones about the fact that he wants promotion with Raynor and boss Steve Evans, sidelined this week with a virus, having been backed with a raft of new players as they look to drive out of League Two.

The management duo are chasing a third successive promotion following their success at Crawley and Raynor is hopeful that the feelgood factor around the club will be converted into good results.

“We’ve got a very competitive squad and we have to deliver. The proof of the pudding will be when we start playing competitive games but at the moment we’re enjoying the pressure because we have a good squad."
