Wentworth Woodhouse welcomes the Advertiser Wedding Fair

The Rotherham Advertiser is staging the first ever wedding fair within “the Big House” on Sunday.

WENTWORTH Woodhouse opens its doors again this weekend when lucky brides-to-be will have a chance to look around as they pick up ideas for their dream day.

The Rotherham Advertiser is staging the first ever wedding fair within “the Big House” from 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

A varied range of exhibitor stands will spread over five rooms within the house, from the main entrance through the Pillared Hall.

The event will take over the majestic main staircase leading up the breathtaking marble ballroom and three other rooms leading off, including the Whistlejacket Room, the Van Dyck Room and the Junior Common Room.

Admission to the wedding fair is £5, which will be donated to the house restoration fund to help to further improve the condition of the house.

Please note that due to the age and nature of the building, there is currently no wheelchair access to the house.
