Wanted man who taunted police on Facebook is caught

A WANTED man who taunted on Facebook the police officers trying to find him has been caught.

Alex Teasdale (24), from Masbrough, was arrested on Monday for malicious communications and interviewed by officers this week.

Police appealed for information on Teasdale’s whereabouts through their Facebook page on February 2.

Responding as Alex Bert, Teasdale (pictured) posted: “Am I in Rotherham? Doncaster? Sheffield? SKEGNESS??? Enjoy troops!”

Anyone with information about the malicious communications offences — said to have taken place on December 30 — is urged to contact police on 101.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 480 of January 18.
