THIS video shows the "sophisticated" cannabis farm police officers found hidden behind a fitted wardrobe in Herringthorpe yesterday.

Police discovered the cannabis farm, which was through an entrance hidden behind a fitted wardrobe and up a ladder into a loft, as part of Operation Duxford.

The Advertiser joined cops on the frontline as they discovered the haul on Gilberthorpe Street, which had an estimated street value of £12,000.

PC Paul Jameson said: “I have been doing this for 13 years and this is one of the best I have seen in terms of concealment."

Hundreds of buds of cannabis were being dried out on racks in what officers described as a ‘sophisticated’ set-up. Fifteen houses across Rotherham were searched for drugs and stolen goods as part of a day of action by South Yorkshire Police.
