THE family of murdered teenager Leonne Weeks told of their anguish after her killer was jailed.
Statements from dad Darren Weeks, mum Paula Appley and Leonne’s siblings Levi and Millie were read out by relatives outside Sheffield Crown Court after Shea Heeley (19) was given a life sentence for Leonne’s murder.
Aunt Mandy Westrop read out Ms Appley’s statement, in which she described her daughter as “beautiful, loving and amazing”, while Leonne’s uncle, Danny Bowskill, related her father’s tribute.
Levi and Millie said in their joint statement: “Leonne was a beautiful, loving and caring person. She wouldn’t hurt anyone.
“She loved all of her brothers and sisters.
“We love her more and more each day.”
