Vandals damage 17 cars

YOBS damaged 17 cars during a spate of vandalism in Rotherham.

Seventeen vehicles in roads around Clifton Park were scratched and had their tyres slashed in the early hours of Monday morning.

The majority were parked in St Leonard’s Road and police are checking CCCTV footage of the area in the hunt for the vandals.

They are also appealing for witnesses. They are asking anyone with information to contact Rotherham South Safer Neighbourhood Team on 01709 832 076 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
