Vacancy on town council to be filled in Tickhill

A VACANCY has arisen on a town council and a search is on to fill the post.

Tickhill Town Council needs one more member to meet its full complement.

Council clerk Mrs Margaret Cannings-Clough said that a by-election will be called if more than ten electors ask Doncaster Council’s electoral officer for one before Monday, October 30.

If that does not happen, the vacancy will be filled with a candidate chosen by the current councillors.
