UPDATE: Drivers unhurt after Wath collision

DRIVERS involved in a two-vehicle crash escaped uninjured after a collision this morning (Friday).

The incident happened just after 7.40am on Sandygate, Wath, and caused tailbacks.

Police and an ambulance attended.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “It involved a white Ivesco lorry and black Vauxhall Corsa.

“Neither of the drivers are believed to have suffered serious injuries.”
