Ulley dam repair work on schedule: SLIDESHOW
The recent big freeze caused a three-week delay, but Rotherham Borough Council said this week that the major rehabilitation works at Ulley Country Park should be completed by May.
The £4.9 million project follows the devastating downpours in June 2007, when the M1 was closed and nearby villages were evacuated as the Victorian dam wall was pushed to the brink.
