Two pedestrians injured in Swinton crash

TWO pedestrians were injured, one seriously, in an accident in Swinton.

The collision happened on Piccadilly Road, Swinton, at around 7.15pm on November 6.

A light-coloured car, thought to be a Vauxhall Vectra, was in collision with the man and woman as they were walking between Valley Road and Kew Court.

The 33-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the 36-year-old man suffered slight injuries.

Police are still trying to trace the car and would like to speak with anyone who can help their investigation.
