Two more arrested in attempted murder investigation

DETECTIVES investigating an attack which left a man with slash wounds to his neck and arms have arrested two more men this morning.

The men, aged 23 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and currently remain in police custody.

The victim, a 31-year-old man, was found seriously injured outside a property on St Mary’s View in Greasbrough at around noon on Sunday.

The man was taken to hospital with serious slash wounds to his neck and left arm where he remains in a stable condition, said a police spokeswoman.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to contact them via 101, or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 413 of April 22.
