Two injured in Bramley assault

TWO men suffered head injuries after allegedly being attacked on leaving a Bramley takeaway.

The pair, aged 24 and 27, were involved in an altercation with another man at about 11.30pm on Sunday.

No arrests have been made and detectives have appealed for witnesses to the incident, which happened near the King Henry pub on Bramley crossroads.

A police cordon was in place for about 12 hours.

The victims are from Cambridgeshire and were visiting friends in South Yorkshire.

They were taken to Rotherham General Hospital but have since been discharged.
