Two arrested and drugs seized in Mexborough
Police from Doncaster’s dedicated organised crime team carried out raids on Flowitt Street, Mexborough on Wednesday.
A quantity of suspected heroin with a street value of around £500 and cannabis, with an estimated street value of £320, were seized as well as £500 in cash.

Hide AdThe 37-year-old man and 39-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and have been released under investigation.
Interim crime manager for Doncaster, Det Chief Insp Paul Wilson, said: “I want to offer my assurance to our communities in Doncaster that this is just the start of a dedicated, consistent and robust approach to tackling crime and disorder across the borough.
“The local neighbourhood policing team have been carrying out high visibility patrols in the area and yesterday (Thursday) they also issued four men with summons to appear in court for an incident of violent disorder in Mexborough earlier this year.
“Additional patrols and partnership work will continue to provide reassurance to our communities.
