Two arrested after police chase ends in five-car crash

The pursuit involve a silver Audi A4 Sport and started at about 4.45am.

The drive and pasengers were arrested after the car crashed into a parked car on Dyke Vale Road in the Hackenthorpe area of Sheffield.

A police spokeswoman said: “The collision resulted in a further three parked cars being hit along with the police vehicle.

“No-one was injured but officers currently remain at the scene where the road remains closed to the junction of Silkstone Road.”

The driver and passenger of the Audi were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop and theft.
