TRAVEL: Parts of M1 through Rotherham to close for roadworks

MOTORISTS are advised that part of the M1 network in Rotherham will be closed this week for roadworks.

At the Tinsley viaduct, the northbound entry and exit slip roads at junction 34 will be closed overnight today (Tuesday).

The southbound entry and exit slip roads at the same junction will be closed overnight on Friday.

There will also be overnight closures at junction 35 and 35a on Wednesday and Thursday night.

Highways England said the carriageway work would be between 10pm and 6am and diversions would be clearly signalled.
