Top computer award for Rawmarsh Sandill primary school

YOUNGSTERS at Rawmarsh Sandhill primary school are celebrating winning an award for the way that they use computers.

The school has been presented with the British Education Communications and Technology Agency (Becta) award by MP John Healey.

The award is a mark of quality teaching and learning and recognises both staff and pupils who successfully use ICT in school.

It took the school around a year to prepare, submit and be assessed for the award.

It places Rawmarsh among 1,000 schools in the UK who have also achieved the standard.
