Titans off - but game could still go ahead!

ROTHERHAM Titans have already pulled the plug on Saturday's scheduled clash with Cornish Pirates - but are optimistic that the game will still take place.

The frozen Clifton Lane pitch means an early decision to call-off  Saturday's game has been made to prevent Pitrates from travelling.

But hopes are high that it will now be played on either Sunday or, if that proves impossible, Monday afternoon. A decision over Sunday's game will be made at lunchtime on Saturday.

Said Lane chief Andre Bester: "It's a game we desperately want to go ahead and we're doing everything to make the surface playable."
