Titans bullish ahead of Headingley derby

TITANS stand-in skipper Tom Calladine says the Clifton Lane men will head into Sunday's derby at Yorkshire Carnegie ready to face one of their stiffest challenges of the season.

Second-bottom Rotherham face the second-top Headingley side as they try to build on last week's 23-10 victory over Richmond, a result which snapped a run of seven games without a win.

Calladine is confident that Titans can rattle their rivals.

“It’s never an easy game at Leeds. They’re looking good but they are beatable," he said.

“I’ve had plenty of games up there were teams score tries against them and you have just got to look to keep the ball. If you give them too much they’ve got quick runners and they’ll score points against you.”

Coach Justin Burnell will name his side on Friday and you can catch all the rugby latest, including a full preview feature with Tom Calladine in Friday's Advertiser.
