Tinsley Viaduct roadworks reminder

The £250,000 maintenance scheme on the A631 is expected to be completed by Saturday, March 24.

The northbound carriageway will be closed between 10pm and 6am until Tuesday morning and the southbound shut for the following four nights. Diversions will be marked.

Highways Agency project sponsor Tim Calvert said: “Users of the viaduct will appreciate that we occasionally have to close the carriageway to carry out routine maintenance and repairs to tackle wear and tear.

“We will be working hard to ensure that disruption to road users as well as residents is kept to a minimum but some inconvenience is inevitable and drivers should allow extra time for journeys.”
