Three charged with attempted murder over barber shop attack

TWO men and a boy of 16 have been charged with attempted murder after an attack in a Masbrough barbers shop left a man in intensive care.

The trio appeared at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday after the incident at Prince Cuts.

The attack last Thursday left 22-year-old Ismail Hussain clinging to his life and remains in the intensive care unit at Sheffield Royal Hallamshire hospital.

Shamas Ali (20), and Asif Ali (25), both of Clough Road, Masbrough, were charged on Friday night along with a 16-year-old boy.

All three were remanded in custody and will appear at Sheffield Crown Court this Friday, August 13.
