A fire crew was called to the incident at 7.05pm and spent 40 minutes at the scene.

At 8pm, a Rotherham fire crew was called to put out a fire in a wheelie bin on Fenton Road in Kimberworth Park.

They spent half-an-hour tackling the fire.

Tyres were deliberately ignited on Ingsfield Lane, Bolton-on-Dearne.

A fire crew from Dearne was called out at 9.05pm and left at 9.30pm.

Meanwhile, a fire crew was called to an accidental fire in the kitchen of a house on Victoria Road, Mexborough, at 8.30pm.

No-one was injured.
