There will be light at special Rotherham Minster service

The service of thanksgiving and dedication for the church’s new lighting system will be held on Thursday, March 2, starting at 7.30pm.

It will be conducted by the Bishop of Doncaster, Rt Rev Peter Burrows.

Vicar of Rotherham Canon David Bliss said: “I do hope everyone will want to come and join us on this special occasion as we give thanks for and dedicate this wonderful new lighting scheme.

“It will also be an opportunity to see the interior of the Minster bathed in a kaleidoscope of colour.”
