The Sherlocks excited by "mega" tour plans with Liam Gallagher

MUCH-travelled indie band The Sherlocks will be packing their luggage again next year as they prepare to tour Europe with music legend Liam Gallagher.

The Bolton-on-Dearne four-piece have been picked as main support on the ex-Oasis frontman’s solo European tour.

The two-week stint, which will follow a series of dates around the UK, will take in Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Zurich, Paris, Cologne, Berlin, Brussels, and Amsterdam.

The band of brothers — Kiaran and Brandon Crook and Andy and Josh Davidson — are midway through their own two-week tour of the USA and Canada promoting debut album Live for the Moment, which entered the UK album charts at No 6.

Kiaran said: “It’s an honour to be invited by Liam Gallagher to support him on his European tour.

“We’ve all grown up listening to Oasis, so it's a big deal for us.

“He’s a top man to be around as well.

“It’s gonna be a mega tour and we’re looking forward to getting out there.”
