Teenager seriously injured in Thrybergh crash

A TEENAGER is in hospital after being seriously injured when a car and a motorcycle were in collision in Thrybergh on Monday night.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 17-year-old boy was badly hurt when a black Vauxhall Vectra and the motorcycle collided on Bellscroft Avenue, at the junction with Rockland Villas at around 8.15pm.

The 17-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he remains. A 15-year-old boy sustained minor injuries.

The teenagers are believed to have been riding the motorcycle, but it was not at the scene of the collision and has not been recovered by officers.

Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone with information about the location of the motorcycle, is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 1079 of 27 April 2015.
