Taxi row man fights for life
A MAN is fighting for his life after being hit by a taxi in Rotherham following a dispute over the fare.
The 18-year-old, from Maltby, was with his girlfriend being dropped off on Disraeli Grove, Maltby, at 3.55am on Sunday.
He got out of the blue Toyota Avensis while his girlfriend was still inside disputing the bill.
The taxi driver allegedly locked the woman inside the car and while attempting to drive off hit the man. Police arrested a 27-year-old Rotherham man.
