Talent winner Sadie hits iTunes with new single

Sadie (17) came first in The Factor, the annual talent show at Wickersley Comprehensive School.

She won the chance to record at the Steelworks Studio in Sheffield and her cover of Boys Like Girls’ 2008 hit Thunder will be available on iTunes from June 6.

Sadie said her musical influences were Rihanna and Pixie Lott and added that she would love one day to become a singer.

“I didn’t really know what to expect having not done anything like this before,” Sadie said.

“It was a great experience. I think every girl dreams of being a singer and I hope this just gives me that extra bit of exposure and gets me noticed.”
